Utah company provides unique solutions for Power Over Ethernet
July 1, 2011 – Draper, Utah – Tycon Power® Systems announces the expansion of its POE midspan inserter product line with the addition of 802.3at, 802.3af and Gigabit Ethernet compatible midspan POE injectors.
“As network technology continues to advance with POE specifications like 802.3at which can deliver more power to a POE client and Gigabit Ethernet which can deliver data at 10 times more speed than the existing 100-Base-T technology, Tycon Power® Systems is staying relevant with the release of Gigabit Ethernet compatible and 802.3at and 802.3af POE midspan injectors” said Scott Parsons, CEO. “These POE midspan injectors are designed for the industrial market but with prices suitable for commercial customers."
The TP-POE series of midspan injectors feature built-in Ethernet and Power Line surge suppression which helps protect sensitive equipment connected to the POE injector. There are various models available delivering Passive POE, IEEE 802.3at and IEEE 802.3af functionality. Also available are midspan POE Injectors with Gigabit Ethernet compatibility (10/100/1000Mb). The units are autoranging 90-264VAC 50/60hz and the AC power cord is connectorized for easy adaptation to different domestic or international AC sockets. Operating temperature is -30 to +60C.
