This unique product allows the connection of non-standard POE devices such as wireless equipment, cameras and other low voltage POE powered equipment, to standard POE switches and inserters The TP-POE-1224 accepts 48VDC POE power from a 802.3af standard or non standard POE sending unit such as a POE switch or mid-span and converts it to 12VDC or 24VDC regulated POE. The 12VDC or 24VDC output is switchable so this product is truly universal in application scope. It has multiple protections for short circuit, overload and overvoltage. The units operate over a wide temperature range making them ideal for outdoor installations. “This low cost product simplifies network deployment by providing multiple POE voltages from a single POE switch. ” said Scott Parsons, CEO. “Now a variety of different standard and nonstandard POE powered equipment can be operated from the same POE switch or mid-span, saving investment and physical space ."
