Utah company provides unique solutions for Remote Power
February 8, 2013 – Bluffdale, Utah –Tycon Power Systems Announces The Release Of Its New High power 10/100/1000m Gigabit Passive POE Inserter.
“We have seen more and more higher power devices entering the market that operate beyond the scope of present POE power standards. They need to use all 4 pairs (8 wires) for POE power and Gigabit data. Typical power requirements are 50W to 75W.” said Scott Parsons, CEO. “The POE-INJ-1000-DIN allows for powering of these Hi Power devices from an existing voltage source such as a battery system or an AC to DC power supply. The locking Mini DIN power connector creates a secure power connection to the inserter."
The POE-INJ-1000-DIN is a shielded passive power over Ethernet inserter that is compatible with data speeds up to 1 gigabit. The DIN connector is a 4pin locking Mini DIN connector. The RJ45 connectors are shielded to ensure continuous shielding from power source to destination device. There is an LED to indicate power on.
Gigabit Passive POE Injectors carry a 2 year warranty.
They are normally in stock in Salt Lake City, Utah or at one of Tycon Power Systems worldwide distributors.
*MSRP is $7.95
