Utah company provides unique solutions for Power Over Ethernet
October 3, 2012 – Bluffdale, Utah – Tycon Power Systems Announces The Release Of Its New 10/100/1000m Gigabit Passive POE Inserter.
“As more and more high performance wireless devices are operating at Gigabit Ethernet speeds, we realized the need for a low cost passive POE injector that is Gigabit compatible.” said Scott Parsons, CEO. “The POE-INJ- 1000-S fills this need in a compact form factor. The RJ45 connectors are shielded to create a continuous ground path for shielded cables. The first model has a shrouded DC Barrel connector and we are working on a new version with Mini DIN 4 pin DC connector due out in December 2012"
The POE-INJ-1000 is a shielded passive power over Ethernet inserter that is compatible with data speeds up to 1 gigabit. The DC Barrel connector model features a shrouded DC connector to ensure a more reliable dust free connection. The shroud also adds mechanical friction to prevent the mating connector from disconnecting accidentally. The DIN connector model features a 4pin locking Mini DIN connector. The RJ45 connectors are shielded to ensure continuous shielding from power source to destination device. There is an LED to indicate power on.
Gigabit Passive POE Injectors carry a 2 year warranty.
They are normally in stock in Salt Lake City, Utah or at one of Tycon Power Systems worldwide distributors.
*MSRP is $5.95
